Living Colour at AQC 2014

The 10th Australasian Quilt Convention opens today 10 April and runs until Sunday 13 April and Living Colour! is there celebreating life across the spectrum. This is an overview from on high (look along the back wall):
Down at ground level, it started with a blank wall:
Which I filled with colour:
Stepping through the rainbow (and apologies for some fuzzy photos, I will rephotograph today. First the reds, and oranges:
Then the yellows and greens:
Into the blues:
A colourful junction:
And completing the rainbow effect:

Premiere & Floor Talks at AQC
The exhibition will premiere at the Australasian Quilt Convention 10-13 April 2014. Join the curator Brenda Gael Smith, and some of the artists, for daily floor talks at 1.30pm!
Living Colour! Exhibition Program

You may recall that I received 171 entries from 160 textile artists for this exhibition. Many people have asked me how I selected the 32 finalists.
